The Journey to Opening Bite Bar’s flagship dessert bar
Moving day one was a good time! I recently visited my first ever public auction which was absolutely riveting! I got some great deals from what I understand like a commercial mixer for a couple thousand dollars (they go for about $8k) and a stainless steel shelf for $325 (for which another bidder wanted to pay me $400 to take it off my hands!)
For anyone out there looking for equipment for commercial or business use, I would strongly
recommend looking up auctions which are found on line (google away) but also in the paper on Sundays which I was just told yesterday. If you’re okay with using slightly used items this is a great way to keep costs down when starting a new venture.
Anyways, so all the stuff came in yesterday and is scattered throughout the venue as we await the designers and contractor tomorrow.
